In his absence, White shined and continued to start Saturday even with Battle’s return for NC State. He was named the ACC Defensive Back of the Week after the Texas Tech game when he had pick six among his 2 interceptions and adding a sack that evening. White leads NC State with 3 pass breakups through 3 weeks.

There has been a noticeable change at nickel. Baker-Williams, who missed the Connecticut win, is still listed as the starter.

Third-year sophomore Joshua Pierre-Louis has dropped off the depth chart. Harris, who started Saturday in Baker-Williams’ absence, and Boykin are listed as the new backups.
