Battle will miss the first half Saturday for NC State at Syracuse because he was ejected for targeting near the end of the FSU win. Battle started the opener and then missed 2 games with an injury. He has been a reserve since and has 10 tackles (7 solo, 1 for loss), 2 interceptions and a pass breakup.
