NC State football rises in both top 25 polls released Sunday
NC State football, fresh off its 9-3 regular season and 6-2 mark in the ACC, made a small jump in both of the Associated Press and Coaches polls.
The Pack was No. 24 in each rankings going into the weekend. The dramatic 34-30 home win over rival North Carolina Friday night helped NC State gain four spots in the coaches poll and three in the Associated Press.

There are four teams in the ACC now ranked after Clemson hopped back into the top 25, joining the Pack, Pittsburgh and Wake Forest.
NC State will wait till next Sunday to find out where it is bowling this year, which most focus centered around Orlando for the Cheez-It Bowl Dec. 29 or San Diego for the Holiday Bowl Dec. 28.
The former would be against a Big 12 opponent, the latter vs. a Pac-12 team.
