NC State is at the bye week through seven games, which is a good time to look at the team’s freshmen to see how many games each of them has played. A player can appear in up to four games while retaining their ability to redshirt.

The Wolfpack signed 15 freshman in the class of 2023, here is a look at how they’re doing in their first season of college football.

LB Kamal Bonner: The Moultire, Ga., native has appeared in two games, against Notre Dame and VMI. Bonner has recorded two total tackles, both solo stops.

CB Brandon Cisse: He has played in six of NC State’s first seven games. Cisse’s role has been primarily in the Wolfpack’s dime package, and he has recorded four total tackles.

WR Kevin Concepcion: The Charlotte, N.C., native has done it all for NC State on offense this fall. He has played in all seven games, and is the team’s leading receiver with 37 receptions for 410 yards and four touchdowns. Concepcion was also the team’s second-leading rusher at Duke with four carries for 33 yards. The wideout has played 318 snaps on offense this season.
