NC State Friday 5: Bold predictions ahead of the Wolfpack’s game vs. North Carolina
It is rivalry week in college football, and NC State will host North Carolina on Saturday night at Carter-Finley Stadium in front of a sold-out crowd. The Wolfpacker went 2-for-5 in its bold predictions last week — nailed graduate quarterback Brennan Armstrong rushing for more than 80 yards and NC State’s offense would not record a turnover. We just missed graduate linebacker Payton Wilson recording more than 12 tackles (he had 11) and NC State’s defense would force more than one turnover (it had one interception, but dropped a couple more). Before the Tar Heels and Wolfpack square off, here are five bold predictions ahead of the matchup. We will take a look at them before the bowl game to see if they came to fruition or not.
