NC State K Brayden Narveson agrees to UDFA contract with Tennessee Titans
Former NC State starting placekicker Brayden Narveson agreed to an NFL undrafted free agent contract with the Tennessee Titans, the Wolfpack shared Saturday night. He spent his sixth and final season of college football in Raleigh and will now have a chance to compete for a professional roster spot.
Narveson converted 18 of 23 field goal attempts in his lone campaign with the Pack. He mate all 5 of his attempts from inside 30 yards and also set the program record with a 57-yard boot against Duke last fall.
In the final seconds of the Wolfpack’s clash with Virginia, Narveson hit a 33-yard kick as time expired to seal the program’s 24-21 win over the Cavaliers.
“It was awesome,” Narveson said. “I definitely blacked out right after I hit it just from excitement and adrenaline and everything. It was a lot of fun, for sure.”
The graduate student from Scottsdale, Arizona, converted 100 percent of his extra point tries, finishing the season with 92 total points. He made a season-high 4 kicks in the regular season finale against UNC.

Prior to his career with the Wolfpack, Narveson kicked for Iowa State and Western Kentucky finishing the 2022 season connecting on 15 for 21 on field goal attempts and receiving All-Conference USA honorable mention honors.
He spent the past 3 years with the Hilltoppers after 2 years with the Cyclones. In 2021, he was an All-Conference USA second-team selection and received Lou Groza Award semifinalist recognition in 2020.Going into the 2023 season, he made the Lou Groza Award watch list as well.
Longtime NFL veteran Nick Folk handled placekicking duties for the Titans last season, and he was one of the best kickers in the league. He hit 29 of 30 field goal attempts. Narveson is the second Wolfpack specialist to agree to an undrafted free agent deal, joining long snapper Joe Shimko, who joined the Arizona Cardinals.
