After NC State’s defense helped propel the Wolfpack to a big win over Clemson, the Wolfpack are gearing up for another home test, this time against Miami. According to The Action Network’s opening line, the Pack is a 4-point underdog against the Hurricanes this weekend.

The Hurricanes went to overtime with Virginia, but edged the Cavaliers 29-26 at home.
NC State (5-3, 2-2 ACC) is 2-5-1 against the spread this season. The Pack covered against Marshall (W 48-41, -6.5) and Clemson (W 24-17, +10), while it failed to do so against UConn (W 24-14, -14.5), Notre Dame (L 45-24, +7), VMI (W 45-7, -43.5), Virginia (W 24-21, -8) and Duke (L 24-3, +4). It was a push against Louisville (L 13-10, +3).
