NC State football finished the 2023 season 9-4. After a brief break, winter workouts started up this week with a host of new Wolfpackers joining the team.

The program updated its official roster with 10 transfers, including quarterback Grayson McCall and wide receiver Noah Rogers, along with 18 early enrollee scholarship freshmen and junior college athletes. With so much roster overhaul following the end of the regular season, welcoming these 28 players to the program in January helps the Pack jump-start its team building ahead of next season.

Here’s a breakdown of who has officially joined the Wolfpack.

NC State’s Incoming transfers

Note: All listed heights/weights are from their previous school and have not been updated at NC State.

Class: Senior

Height/Weight: 6-2, 180 pounds

Nickel Tamarcus Cooley

School: Maryland

Class: Redshirt freshman

Height/Weight: 5-11, 191 pounds

Notes: There were a few questions around whether or not Cooley redshirted with Maryland last year after Pro Football Focus (PFF) listed him with 7 games played but, based on the Wolfpack’s official roster, it looks like he will join the program with four seasons of eligibility remaining. As expected, he is also listed as a nickel back.

Offensive lineman Zeke Correll
