NC State Newsstand: Former Pack guard Trey Parker commits to Seton Hall

Former NC State guard Trey Parker committed to Seton Hall on Tuesday night, becoming the final member of the 2024-25 team to find a new home since Kevin Keatts was fired in Raleigh.
Parker has three years of eligibility remaining after he averaged 4.6 points, 1.4 rebounds and 1.1 assists per game as a freshman. He scored in double figures four times, including a season-best 19 points with five made 3-pointers in a 1-point loss at Stanford on Feb. 8.
The 6-foot-1, 165-pound guard brought quick-twitch skills to the Wolfpack, while he was also more than capable of finishing with flashy dunks around the rim.
Parker, a Fayetteville native, joins Bryce Heard (Dayton), Dennis Parker Jr. (Radford) Marcus Hill (Texas A&M) and Mike James (Vanderbilt) in finding a new program through the transfer portal since the Wolfpack’s coaching change.

Quote of the day
NC State hosted Biloxi (Miss.) three-star offensive lineman Hayden Ainsworth for an official visit this past weekend. The trip exceeded his expectations.
“Definitely since it was my first OV, it definitely set a standard,” Ainsworth said. “I knew what I was looking for in an OV, but I didn’t know what I was looking for. They definitely set the bar at a certain level. Now I have something to compare to. In all honesty, it was an amazing visit. I loved it.”
