NC State football will play its third regular season game at a unique time slot. The Wolfpack hosts VMI Sept. 16 at 2 p.m. EST, the program announced Thursday, and the game will be broadcast on the CW Network.

This will be NC State’s first contest on the network after it purchased the broadcast rights formerly held by RSN. The CW Network is available on most cable packages and multiple streaming platforms.

NC State now knows the kickoff time for its first five matchups of the 2023 season. The Wolfpack kicks off the season with a 7:30 p.m. Aug. 31 showdown with UConn on the road. CBS Sports has the broadcast for that game. The Sept. 9 home opener follows the next week, with the Wolfpack taking on Notre Dame for a noon kickoff on ABC.

After facing off against the Irish, NC State welcomes VMI to Carter-Finley Stadium before a 7:30 p.m. Sept. 22 road trip to UVA and a 7:00 p.m. home game against Louisville.
