The Pack of Wolves NIL collective will host a massive ‘Meet the Pack Day’ Saturday, Aug. 19, giving NC State football fans the chance to meet more than 120 athletes. This is the second-consecutive year the organization will host the event.
Doors open at the Close-King Indoor Practice Facility at 5 p.m. for members of the Pack of Wolves and Savage Wolves NIL collective. Fans can also purchase a $30 “VIP” ticket to get in at that time as well. Children 18 and under have free access to the event at any time.
Starting at 6:30, Meet the Pack Day will be open to the general public. This is an NIL opportunity for every member of the Wolfpack football program, including walk-ons.
“We can’t wait for Wolfpack Nation to meet our 2023 Football team, and we are so proud to
offer this as an NIL opportunity to the entire roster of players in our football program,” Pack of Wolves general manager Chris Vurnakes said in a press release. “Our main priority as a collective is to
support our student-athletes, and through the generosity of our enthusiastic fans we have
increased our support to include every football player who represents the Pack on the field.”
During the event, the NC State athletes will sign autographs and take pictures with fans. Per the press release, collective members and VIP ticket holders also have the opportunity to take a professional photo with one member of the Pack.

NC State quote of the day
This quote is from Wolfpack linebacker Devon Betty, discussing how working in the offseason with director of strength and conditioning Dantonio Burnette helped prepare the program for the heat during camp.
“Doing extra in the summer really helped us get to this point,” Betty said. “Now, we are out there running like the weather doesn’t even affect us.”
