Terquavion Smith signed a two-way NBA contract with the Philadelphia 76ers earlier this summer as an undrafted free agent, and he put together 8 impressive games during this year’s Summer League.

The former NC State men’s basketball star scored 14.9 points per game, shot 39.4 percent from the field and hit 38 percent of his threes. He also grabbed 2.6 rebounds per game and dished out 4.4 assists per matchup.

His top performance was a July 13 matchup against the Hawks. The guard came off the bench to score 20 points on 7 of 10 shooting in 26 minutes.

During his Summer League tenure, which included stops in Salt Lake City, Utah, and Las Vegas, Nevada, he showcased his limitless range and an ability to attack the rim as well— two skills he sharpened while with the Wolfpack.

Smith averaged 17.9 points, 4.1 assists and 3.6 rebounds per game as a sophomore at NC State, earning All-ACC second team honors. He shot 38 percent from the field, 33.6 percent from deep and 70.1 percent from the line. The 6-4 sophomore started all 34 games for the Pack and also led the program in total assists with 140 and steals with 49.

If he remains on a two-way contract with Philadelphia, the guard can be active for up to 50 games and will spend the rest of the season with the franchise’s G-League affiliate, the Delaware Blue Coats.
