Atlanta (Ga.) Overtime Elite, one of the top emerging prep options for high school men’s basketball recruits, hosted a pro day for college coaches this week. NC State’s staff was there to watch four-star combo guard commit Trey Parker.
The future member of the Wolfpack committed to the program last year when he was a 2023 recruit. Parker chose to not enroll at NC State and remain at OTE for another year, while also maintaining his commitment to the program.
He participated in the pro day and stood out to On3’s Jamie Shaw.
“Parker is a highlight waiting to happen,” Shaw wrote. “Filled with burst and explosion, he plays with a lot of confidence on the ball. Parker showed range on the jump shot and the ability to get into his shot off the bounce and off movement.”
Last season, Parker averaged 12.1 points, 2.8 rebounds and 2.3 steals per game with Overtime Elite.

NC State quote of the day
This quote is from Naples (Fla.) High head coach Rick Martin, discussing Wolfpack freshman running back Kendrick Raphael, who led the team in rushing against VMI.
“Kendrick was a craftsman,” Martin said. “He was someone who was constantly trying to perfect his craft. We watch film, and we grade film everyday, we make comments. He was the one guy when he was here that all that stuff really mattered. He took all of that in and he really tried to get better at the things he needed to get better at.”
