NC State is on a massive recruiting run right now, picking up three of its four highest-ranked commitments in the past two weeks. As a result, the Wolfpack made a pretty significant jump in the On3 Industry Team Recruiting Rankings.
After spending most of the summer in the high 50s nationally and near the bottom of the ACC, the program now sits at No. 39 in the country and No. 8 in the conference. That places the Pack much closer to where it was at this time last cycle.
The Wolfpack started off this run with a commitment from three-star interior offensive lineman Robby Martin July 31. He is the No. 1 recruit in West Virginia and the No. 37 prospect nationally at his position.
Later that week, four-star wide receiver Jonathan Paylor picked the Wolfpack over South Carolina, wrapping up arguably the most significant recruiting win for the program this year. He is the No. 4 recruit in North Carolina and the top-ranked prospect in this class.
Three-star defensive lineman Josh Alexander-Felton committed less than an hour later, picking NC State over Pittsburgh, Maryland and others. The rising senior is the highest-ranked member of the Pack’s defensive line class at 86.54.
Terrell Anderson, the No. 12 recruit in North Carolina per the industry but No. 2 in On3’s rankings, capped off the thrilling two-week stretch Aug. 12 when he committed to the Pack over Michigan and Tennessee. He sits right below Paylor as the No. 2 ranked member in the class.
The Wolfpack is still recruiting three-star wide receiver Jimmar Boston, three-star wide receiver Christian Zachary, three-star offensive lineman Tyler West, three-star linebacker Jacorey Stewart and three-star linebacker Joshua Ofor.

NC State quote of the day
This quote is from Anderson, describing how the environment around the Wolfpack program helped him make his decision.
“I don’t have family up there, but the players, the relationships that we built, it feels like family,” Anderson said. “Just them having confidence in me and I’m not even there yet, that played a huge role in it.”
