NC State football expanded its class of 2025 and 2026 recruiting boards Wednesday when it extended a pair of new offers. The Wolfpack sent out offers to three-star rising junior defensive back Justin Rowe and rising sophomore offensive tackle prospect Ekene Ogboko.
Rowe is a versatile defender who can play both linebacker and safety at 6-3, 195 pounds. He has an offer and a lot of interest from Michigan. The Wolverines hosted him for a visit June 1. Missouri, Virginia Tech and others have also offered. Last fall was his first season playing football in the United States after deciding to attend Asheville School.
The defensive back is from Canada and home for the summer, so he will not be taking many visits until he returns to North Carolina this fall. Once he is back in school, Rowe plans on taking his second NC State unofficial visit after stopping by campus earlier this year.
Ogboko also visited Raleigh this spring and picked up an offer when he returned Wednesday. Standing 6-6, 270 pounds as a freshman, he is an elite prospect and also holds scholarships from Florida, Duke and others. The South Garner star is a local recruit and definitely a priority prospect to watch moving forward.

NC State quote of the day
This quote is from Wolfpack football head coach Dave Doeren discussing NIL.
“A lot of people don’t understand it,” Doeren said. “A lot of people say they don’t like it. It’s kind of one of those things where you have to adapt or die. It doesn’t really matter if you like it or not, it’s here.
“And it’s not going anywhere.”
