NC State Newsstand: Zeke Correll named to Rimington Trophy Preseason Watch List
NC State graduate center Zeke Correll continues to rake in the preseason honors leading into his only year with the Wolfpack. The latest recognition? The Rimington Trophy Preseason Watch List.
The trophy is awarded to college football’s top center and Correll is looking to become the second Pack player to win it. Garrett Bradbury claimed the prize in 2018.
While Correll found his way onto the watch list, it is not his first preseason honor. He was also named to the Outland Trophy Watch List, which honors the top interior lineman in college football, earlier this summer.
The Notre Dame transfer arrived in Raleigh with 31 career starts and has only allowed just three sacks in 1,019 pass blocking opportunities. Correll was a part of the Joe Moore Award, which honors the top offensive line unit, semifinalist group last season.
