Pack Pros: Jakobi Meyers finds the end zone for the third straight game
It was another full weekend of NFL football, which means NC State’s Pack pros were all in action for their respective teams, which included another touchdown for Jakobi Meyers — his third straight game with a score.
Here’s a look at how the Pack Pros did in their games this weekend.
Center Garrett Bradbury (played at NC State from 2015-18), Minnesota Vikings: Bradbury played all 70 offensive snaps at center for the Vikings in the team’s 22-17 win over the San Francisco 49ers.
Quarterback Jacoby Brissett (2014-15), Washington Commanders: Brissettt did not play as he served as the Washington Commanders’ primary reserve quarterback in the team’s 14-7 loss to the New York Giants.
Outside linebacker Bradley Chubb (2014-17), Miami Dolphins: Chubb was second on the team with seven tackles, including five solo, with two sacks and a tackle for loss in the Dolphins’ 31-17 loss to the Philadelphia Eagles on Sunday Night Football. He also recorded one quarterback hit.
Punter A.J. Cole III (2015-18), Las Vegas Raiders: Cole logged two punts for a total of 82 yards for an average of 41 in the Raiders’ 30-12 loss to the Chicago Bears. Both of his kicks landed inside the 20 and he had a long of 43 yards. Cole kicked against fellow Pack Pro Trenton Gill in the contest.
Offensive tackle Ikem Ekwonu (2019-21), Carolina Panthers: The Panthers were on bye this week.
Punter Trenton Gill (2018-21), Chicago Bears: Gill recorded three punts for a total of 120 yards in the Bears’ 30-12 win over the Las Vegas Raiders. He had a long of 47 yards against fellow Pack Pro A.J. Cole III.
Defensive lineman B.J. Hill Jr. (2014-17), Cincinnati Bengals: The Bengals were on bye this week.
RB Nyheim Hines (2015-17), Buffalo Bills: Hines is out for the season with an injury suffered over the offseason.
Safety Tanner Ingle, Los Angeles Rams (2018-22): Ingle is on the Rams’ practice squad.
Defensive tackle Justin Jones (2014-17), Chicago Bears: Jones recorded three tackles, including two solo, with a sack and a tackle for loss in the Bears’ 30-12 win over the Las Vegas Raiders. He also recorded a pass defended and a quarterback hit.
Linebacker Vi Jones (2019-21), Seattle Seahawks: Jones was waived off of injured reserve by the Seahawks following an injury settlement.
Running back Zonovan Knight (2019-21), Detroit Lions: Knight is out for the rest of the season with a shoulder injury. He had one catch for eight yards, and three carries for 13 yards in his two appearances with the Lions this season.
Cornerback Nick McCloud (2016-19, finished at Notre Dame), New York Giants: McCloud recorded two tackles and added a pass defended in the Giants’ 14-7 win over the Washington Commanders.
Defensive tackle T.Y. McGill Jr. (2011-14), San Francisco 49ers: McGill did not appear in the 49ers’ 22-17 win over the Minnesota Vikings.
Defensive tackle Alim McNeill (2018-20), Detroit Lions: McNeill logged two tackles, including one solo, in the Lions’ 38-6 loss to the Baltimore Ravens.

Wide receiver Jakobi Meyers (2016-18), Las Vegas Raiders: Meyers had seven receptions for 50 yards and a touchdown in the Raiders’ 30-12 loss to the Chicago Bears. He was targeted 13 times and had a long of 15 yards. That’s his fifth touchdown of the season in six games played.
Defensive tackle Larrell Murchison (2018-19), Los Angeles Rams: Murchison did not appear in the Rams’ 24-17 loss to the Pittsburgh Steelers.
Cornerback Derrek Pitts Jr. (2021-22), Tampa Bay Buccaneers: Pitts did not play in the Buccaneers’ 16-13 loss to the Atlanta Falcons.
Linebacker Germaine Pratt (2014-18), Cincinnati Bengals: The Bengals were on bye this week.
Defensive end James Smith-Williams (2016-19), Washington Commanders: Smith-Williams recorded three tackles, including one solo, in the Commanders’ 14-7 loss to the New York Giants.
Defensive lineman Kentavius Street (2014-17), Philadelphia Eagles: Street played three defensive snaps in the Eagles’ 31-17 win over the Miami Dolphins.
Linebacker Drake Thomas (2019-22), Seattle Seahawks: Thomas played 14 snaps on special teams in the Seahawks’ 20-10 win over the Arizona Cardinals.
Wide receiver Thayer Thomas (2017-22), Minnesota Vikings: Thomas is on the Vikings’ practice squad.
Offensive guard Joe Thuney (2012-15), Kansas City Chiefs: Thuney played all 68 snaps at left guard in the Chiefs’ 31-17 win over the Los Angeles Chargers. He earned a 60.5 offensive grade, according to PFF.
Wide receiver Marquez Valdes-Scantling (2013-14, Finished at USF), Kansas City Chiefs: Valdes-Scantling recorded three receptions for 84 yards and a touchdown in the Chiefs’ 31-17 win over the Los Angeles Chargers. He was targeted five times and had a long of 46 yards.
Quarterback Russell Wilson (2007-09/Finished at Wisconsin), Denver Broncos: Wilson was 20-of-29 passing for 194 yards and a touchdown in the Broncos’ 19-17 win over the Green Bay Packers. He posted a QBR of 78.5 and a quarterback rating of 98.9 in the team’s second victory of the season.
