NC State picked fourth in preseason ACC media poll
In a year filled with high expectations, NC State wants to hold itself to a new standard in the ACC. The Wolfpack has the league trophy on its mind, and the conference’s preseason poll seems to be indicative that NC State has a chance to do just that.
NC State was picked to finish fourth in the ACC’s preseason media poll after it received eight first-place votes. The Pack was one of seven programs to garner at least one first-place vote.
Florida State enters as the league favorite with 81 first-place votes, followed by Clemson (55) and Miami (17) to round out the top three. Virginia Tech (5), Cal (2), Georgia Tech (1) and Boston College (1) were the other teams to have a first-place vote allocated to them this preseason.
