NC State remains ranked in coaches poll, just outside of AP
After losing 21-20 to the previously 2-7 Boston College Eagles, NC State’s top-25 rankings predictably took a significant hit. The Wolfpack remain ranked in the USA Today Coaches Poll at No. 25 but dropped out of the Associated Coaches Poll.

NC State sits directly behind Oklahoma State in the coaches poll— a nine-spot drop. While the program dropped out of the AP ranking entirely, it received the most votes, 77, of those just outside the top-25, falling just 4 short of No. 25 Oregon State.
Clemson, North Carolina and Florida State are the only ACC teams still ranked.
