NC State signee Mikey Wilkins enters On3 Top 100
NC State signee Mikey Wilkins is off to a dominant start to the high school season. He’s averaging 14.7 points with 7.8 rebounds, 2.1 assists and 1.9 steals a game for Arden (N.C.) Christ School.
Wilkins, a 6-foot-8, 240-pound forward, turned heads at the John Wall Invitational in late December with a 21-point, 21-rebound performance in a win over Knightdale High. Now, he has entered the top 100 of On3’s rankings in the latest update released Monday.
The four-star recruit is now the No. 78 overall player in the 2025 recruiting cycle, up from his spot at No. 107. Wilkins also jumped to the 16th-best power forward in the class and is now the No. 3 player in the state of North Carolina.
Wilkins, a do-it-all frontcourt player, had the seventh-highest leap of any player in the cycle in the On3 rankings at 31 spots.
Christ School coach Josh Coley previously told TheWolfpacker.com how Wilkins can impact the game each time he hits the floor.

“He is a unicorn in his best sense,” Coley said of Wilkins. “He is very, very unique and very special to coach because he can do so much. I think his greatest gift is that he’s never uncomfortable in any place you put him on the floor. No matter where you put him, he’s comfortable and no matter what you ask of him, he will do.”
“I think he’s the ultimate team guy who wants to win at all costs.”
Wilkins is the only recruit of the Wolfpack’s two-man high school recruiting class in the top-100 rankings. Dayton (Ohio) Archbishop Alter three-star guard RJ Greer is not inside the On3 top 150, but is the No. 149 player in the class, according to the On3 Industry Rankings.
NC State’s class is the 38th-best in the country, which ranks seventh in the ACC with an overall class score of 90.47. The Pack has five open scholarships remaining for the 2025-26 season.
