NC State tight end Fred Seabrough entered the transfer portal on Thursday morning. He was not on the team’s Pop-Tarts Bowl roster, and he officially appeared in the transfer portal.

Seabrough is the third NC State tight end to enter the transfer portal this offseason, joining Christopher Toudle and Cedd Seabrough, his twin brother.

The Swainsboro, Ga., native appeared in every game this season on the Wolfpack’s special teams, primarily the field goal and extra point unit. He played 60 total snaps, 59 on the field goal unit and one on kick return.

Seabrough appeared in every game last season on special teams as well, while he saw 15 plays on offense in the Pack’s win over Charleston Southern a year ago. He redshirted the 2021 season, and was named to the ACC Academic Honor Roll for the 2021-22 school year.

Seabroguh was a three-star recruit out of high school, according to the On3 Industry Rankings. He was the No. 41 tight end recruit in the country in his recruiting class.
