NC State trending with 3-star EDGE Lawrence Brown Jr.: ‘They check most of the boxes on my list’

Lawrence Brown Jr.’s first introduction to NC State football was watching linebacker Payton Wilson fly around on the Carter-Finley Stadium grass. He didn’t know much about the Wolfpack before that, but as Wilson continued to turn heads on the national stage, Brown grew interested in the red and white.  Wilson ended up winning the Bednarik and Butkus Awards as a senior before he was the Pittsburgh Steelers’ third-round pick in last year’s NFL Draft. That put the Pack on Brown’s radar and the program’s hard, tough, together mantra stuck out to him.
