NC State vs. UVA: How to watch, listen, stream
After back-to-back home games, NC State will hit the road for the second time this fall to play at Virginia. The Cavaliers and Wolfpack haven’t met in three years, and this season’s meeting will be nationally televised.
The contest will pit NC State quarterback Brennan Armstrong against his former team for the first time, and he’ll do it at a place he called home for five seasons: Scott Stadium. Armstrong led UVA to 14 wins in his three seasons as the Cavaliers’ starting quarterback before he transferred to NC State in January for his final season of college football.
But Armstrong isn’t the only person associated with NC State that has ties to UVA. Wolfpack offensive coordinator Robert Anae spent six seasons on staff with the Cavaliers before he went to Syracuse for one season and then joined NC State prior to this season.
UVA offensive coordinator Des Kitchings also has ties to NC State. He was on Dave Doeren’s staff from 2012-2019 as the team’s running backs coach and was eventually promoted to co-offensive coordinator for his final season in Raleigh.
