NC State women’s basketball is one game away from finishing its non-conference slate undefeated. The Pack stands 11-0 on the year, and the Associated Press Poll slotted the program into the No. 3 slot of tis top-25 this week.

This is the same ranking that NC State has maintained over the past couple of weeks as it continues a perfect start to the season. Over its 11 games this year, only 2 were decided by fewer than 10 points. No. 1 South Carolina and No. 2 UCLA are the only programs ranked higher.

The Pack remains 64 points behind the second-ranked Bruins in this week’s poll, and the Gamecocks received all of this week’s first-place votes. ACC programs Notre Dame (No. 14), Virginia Tech (No. 15), Louisville (NO. 19), Florida State (No. 21) and North Carolina (No. 24) all cracked the top-25.

Before starting its conference schedule, NC State travels to Old Dominion Wednesday for its second true road game of the season and its second-consecutive game away from home.
