Noah’s Nuggets: Analyzing NC State baseball’s 0-3 trip to the Jax Baseball Classic

NC State took a 458-mile bus ride south for a three-game weekend at the Jax Baseball Classic, looking to get rid of the taste of its midweek loss to Liberty. But instead, the Wolfpack’s inconsistent play only snowballed as it played three quality teams in Alabama, Coastal Carolina and Ohio State. The Wolfpack dropped all three games while it was in Jacksonville. NC State lost 8-3 to Ohio State in the opener on Friday before Alabama won 4-0 and Coastal Carolina capped the weekend with a 10-3 romp on Sunday afternoon.
