Brock Stukes, a 6-3, 317-pound offensive lineman from North Carolina A&T, committed to NC State football Wednesday morning. He entered the transfer portal Dec. 9 and pledged to the Wolfpack during a mid-week official visit with the program.

NC State put a heavy emphasis on offensive linemen in this transfer cycle and has not secured a pair of commitments in the past week. The former Aggie joins Utah State tackle Teague Andersen as the Pack’s first two pledges of the 2024 transfer cycle.

Stukes spent two seasons at the FCS level after graduating from Chesapeake (Va.) Oscar Smith High. He has two years of eligibility remaining with a redshirt year available. The lineman is expected to play center for the Wolfpack.

He spent Tuesday with the Wolfpack and publicly announced his commitment the next day. North Texas and Marshall also offered him.

During his 5 starts for North Carolina A&T this fall, Stukes played 4 games at left guard and 1 at center for a total of 344 snaps. He missed the rest of the year due to injury. Stukes will be ready to participate in spring practice, he informed TheWolfpacker.com.

The interior lineman recorded a 62.2 Pro Football Focus (PFF) grade that included an 80.2 mark in pass protection. Stukes conceded 4 total pressures, 1 sack and 2 quarterback hurries over his 5 games.

His long contest against and FBS opponent, the season-opener vs. Wake Forest, was also the only matchup where he allowed more than 1 pressure. The lineman gave up 2 against the Demon Deacon defense and finished the day with a 65.6 PFF grade.

NC State’s portal class is just getting started. The Pack now hods commitments from two offensive linemen and will look to continue bolstering the trenches with more visits this week. Stay tuned into TheWolfpacker.com for the latest transfer intel.
