Pack Pros: Brayden Narveson has perfect day in win over Tennessee Titans

In his return to Nashville, where the Tennessee Titans gave Pack Pro kicker Brayden Narveson his first chance in training camp this summer, NC State’s former reliable leg was perfect for the first time in his NFL career. 

Narveson, a rookie, hit all three of his field goal attempts and all three extra points to help push the Green Bay Packers past the Tennessee Titans 30-14 on Sunday afternoon. Narveson hit from 47 yards, his longest kick of his young professional career, in the victory. 

While Narveson impressed with his leg, he was not the only Pack Pro in action this weekend. Here’s a look at how every former NC State player did in the NFL. 

Pack Pros in the NFL: Week 3

C Garrett Bradbury (played at NC State from 2015-18), #56 Minnesota Vikings: Bradbury played 63 snaps in the Vikings’ 34-7 win over the Houston Texans. He gave up three quarterback pressures that led to a hurry, a hit and a sack in the victory.

QB Jacoby Brissett (2014-15), #14 New England Patriots: Brissett was 12-of-18 passing for 98 yards in the Patriots’ 24-3 loss at the New York Jets on Thursday Night Football. He was sacked five times for a loss of 46 yards with a QBR of 23.5.

OLB Bradley Chubb (2014-17), #2 Miami Dolphins: Chubb is currently on the Dolphins’ injured reserve and will miss at least the first four games of the 2024 season.

P A.J. Cole III (2015-18), #6 Las Vegas Raiders: Cole recorded five punts for 261 yards in the Raiders’ 36-22 loss to the Carolina Panthers and fellow Pack Pros Ikem Ekwonu and Chandler Zavala. He had an average of 52.2 yards per kick with three punts inside the 20-yard line. Cole recorded a long of 58 yards in the defeat.

DT Cory Durden (2021-22), #98 Los Angeles Rams:.Durden is on the Rams’ practice squad. 

OT Ikem Ekwonu (2019-21), #79 Carolina Panthers: Ekwonu played 43 snaps in the Panthers’ 36-22 win over the Las Vegas Raiders. He allowed just one quarterback pressure, a hurry, in the victory.

WR Kelvin Harmon (2016-18), #84 Dallas Cowboys: Harmon is on the Cowboys’ practice squad for the 2024 season. 

DL B.J. Hill Jr. (2014-17), #92 Cincinnati Bengals: Hill was inactive in the Bengals’ 38-33 loss to the Washington Commanders. He is recovering from a hamstring injury suffered in Week 2. 

RB Nyheim Hines (2015-17), #22 Cleveland Browns: Hines is still recovering from his season-ending injury suffered last year. He will miss at least the first four weeks of the 2024 season.

S Tanner Ingle (2018-22), #34 Los Angeles Rams: Ingle is on the Rams’ practice squad.

DT Justin Jones (2014-17), #93 Arizona Cardinals: Jones logged one total tackle in the Cardinals’ 20-13 loss to the Detroit Lions. He played 22 total snaps on the defensive line, Jones’ fewest of the season.

LB Vi Jones (2019-21), #53 Tampa Bay Buccaneers: Jones is on the Buccaneers’ practice squad for the 2024 season.

CB Robert Kennedy III (2023), #40 Los Angeles Chargers: Kennedy is on the Chargers’ practice squad for the 2024 season. 

DT T.Y. McGill Jr. (2011-14), #96 San Francisco 49ers: McGill is on the 49ers’ practice squad for the 2024 season. 

C Dylan McMahon (2019-23), #63 Los Angeles Rams: McMahon did not see action in the Rams’ 27-24 win over the San Francisco 49ers. He was dressed and active for the first time since Los Angeles signed the center off the Philadelphia Eagles’ practice squad.

DT Alim McNeill (2018-20), #54 Detroit Lions: McNeill played 19 total snaps in the Lions’ 20-13 win over the Arizona Cardinals. He departed the game before halftime with a shoulder injury, but McNeill is listed as “day-to-day.”

WR Jakobi Meyers (2016-18), #16 Las Vegas Raiders: Meyers caught seven passes for 62 yards and a touchdown in the Raiders’ 36-22 loss to the Carolina Panthers. He was targeted nine times and ha da long of 16 yards in the defeat.

DT Larrell Murchison (2018-19), #52 Los Angeles Rams: Murchison is currently on the injured reserve and will miss at least the first four weeks of the 2024 season.

K Brayden Narveson (2023), #44 Green Bay Packers: Narveson was 3-for-3 on field goal attempts in the Packers’ 30-14 win over the Tennessee Titans. He made a long of 47 yards, while knocking down all three extra point attempts, in the victory.

LB Germaine Pratt (2014-18), #57 Cincinnati Bengals: Pratt led the Bengals with nine total tackles, including six solo stops, in the team’s 38-33 loss to the Washington Commanders on Monday Night Football. 

DE James Smith-Williams (2016-19), #50 Atlanta Falcons: Smith-Williams logged one total tackle in the Falcons’ 22-17 loss to the Kansas City Chiefs, alongside fellow Pack Pro Kentavius Street, on Sunday Night Football. 

DL Kentavius Street (2014-17), #75 Atlanta Falcons: Street recorded one total tackle in the Falcons’ 22-17 loss to the Kansas City Chiefs on Sunday Night Football.

WR Thayer Thomas (2017-22), #89 Minnesota Vikings: Thomas is on the Vikings practice squad. 

LB Drake Thomas (2019-22), #42 Seattle Seahawks: Thomas recorded three total tackles in the Seahawks’ 24-3 win over the Miami Dolphins. He also logged a pass defended, the first of his NFL career, in the victory.

OL Joe Thuney (2012-15), #62 Kansas City Chiefs: Thuney played 74 snaps at left guard in the Chiefs’ 22-17 win over the Atlanta Falcons on Sunday Night Football. He did not allow a pressure for the first time this season. 

LB Payton Wilson (2018-23), #41 Pittsburgh Steelers: Wilson recorded two tackles, including one solo stop, in the Steelers’ 20-10 win over the Los Angeles Chargers. 

QB Russell Wilson (2007-09, finished at Wisconsin), #3 Pittsburgh Steelers: Wilson did not play in the Steelers’ 20-10 win over the Los Angeles Chargers as he recovers from calf tightness. 

OL Chandler Zavala (2021-22), #62 Carolina Panthers: Zavala played 28 total snaps at left guard in the Panthers’ 36-22 win over the Las Vegas Raiders alongside fellow Pack Pro Ikem Ekwonu. Zavala did not give up a quarterback pressure in the victory.
