It took NC State Pack Pro linebacker Payton Wilson just 11 weeks to send the internet into a frenzy with his first-career interception.

The former Wolfpack standout dropped into coverage with Baltimore Ravens running back Justice Hill and he ripped the ball out of the tailback’s hands for his first-career takeaway with the Pittsburgh Steelers.

That play, which ended up as No. 2 on SportCenter’s top 10, turned heads around the country as Wilson continued to outplay his third-round draft slot.
