TheWolfpacker.com's live pregame update blog: NC State at UConn
NC State kicks off its 2023 season against UConn Thursday, Aug. 31 at 7:30 p.m. EST. This is the season-opening contest for both squads and their first opportunities to debut new quarterbacks under center.
The two squads faced off during the 2022 season, with the Pack defending home turf with a 41-10 win. From there, the Huskies turned their season around and finished the year 6-7. NC State wrapped up its 2022 campaign 8-5.
Before the first game of the year officially begins, here are some live updates from the pregame warmups at Pratt and Whitney Stadium.

One starter is not in uniform for warmups: super senior defensive end Savion Jackson. Jackson was hoping to make his return from a torn ACL suffered midway through last year.
