West Virginia hosted Martin more than any other school, but the Wolfpack maintained a constant presence in his recruitment. In the days leading up to his commitment, the lineman tried to visit Raleigh one last time July 26, but travel complications stopped his trip after making most of the drive. He joined the Wolfpack’s class July 31.
Offensive line coach Garett Tujague was his primary recruiter.
“Coach Tujague and I built a strong relationship,” Martin said during his official visit. “It’s been a good one, and I think we’re only building a bigger bond.”
Why Robby Martin picked NC State
“I really like it a lot here,” Martin said during his official visit. “I’ve had a good time with some of the recruits and some of the players. I think I fit in with some of the players well.”
