Scouting NC State baseball’s Super Regional opponent: An early look at Georgia

It has been 15 years since NC State and Georgia squared off in a Super Regional. That was the last time the Bulldogs made it to the second weekend in its quest for Omaha, but the two teams will once again play each other in this year’s Athens Super Regional.  During the 2008 Super Regional between the two squads, Georgia took the series with wins in game one and game three, while NC State took the middle contest in Athens.  Before the Bulldogs and Wolfpack square off Saturday afternoon at Foley Field to begin another iteration of the all-time series between the two storied programs, it is time to take an early look at the Georgia program.
