NC State football returns to the field Saturday night for its second prime-time home game of the season, looking to improve upon its 3-3 start. Syracuse will try to keep the Wolfpack winless in the ACC, while playing on the road for the second consecutive week.

The Orange enter this matchup 4-1 and defeated UNLV last week— the No. 25 team in the country at the time. Behind a powerful offense led by Ohio State transfer Kyle McCord, Syracuse averages 369 passing yards per game.

On the other side of the ball, the Pack’s ACC opponent has only allowed more than 30 points once this year. NC State is averaging 27.8 points per game, the No. 12 mark in the ACC, and allowing 33.7 points per game, which ranks No. 17 in the conference.

To preview the game, The Wolfpacker Show hosts Noah Fleischman and Ethan McDowell welcomed Rachel Culver from CNY Central to the show. Culver covers the Orange and produces The Orange Zone podcast.
