The Wolfpacker Show: Talking through NC State's win over UVA
NC State football picked up its third win of the 2023 season Friday night, when Brayden Narveson booted a 33-yard field goal through the uprights to secure a victory over Virginia as time expired.
After the game, TheWolfpacker.com staff recorded another episode of The Wolfpack Show to break down the victory. Noah Fleischman and Ethan McDowell talked through the highlights from the win, sharing a few positive and negative takeaways from the ACC showdown.
UVA out-gained NC State 384 to 319 in total yardage, but the Pack defense held its conference foe to 21 points. The program maintained a 2 to 1 turnover advantage thanks to interceptions by Sean Brown and Aydan White.
Special teams were the difference once again Friday night. Narveson hit the winning field goal, punter Caden Noonkester averaged 50 yards per kick and Julian Gray set up the final drive with a 35-yard kickoff return.
