When Pittsburgh made its first trip to the Old North State to play Everett Case’s NC State basketball team 75 years ago, the two teams did not meet on the vagabond Wolfpack’s home court. In fact, the first ever meeting in what is now an Atlantic Coast Conference rivalry was at Duke (later Cameron) Indoor Stadium, some 25 miles away in Durham.
