Just hours after wrapping up an official visit at Kansas, Texas Tech transfer forward Darrion Williams was ready to make his decision on his future home. It was a two-horse race between Kansas and NC State, and despite the Jayhawks landing the final visit, Williams committed to the Wolfpack on Thursday afternoon.  The No. 6 player to enter the transfer portal this cycle — committed or uncommitted — sent the NC State social media world in a frenzy as the Wolfpack found the needle-moving transfer it was looking for. Now that the Pack landed one of the premier players in the portal, Will Wade’s squad is bound to enter the 2025-26 campaign with a roster talented enough to comfortably make the NCAA Tournament.  Here’s what Williams’ commitment to NC State means for the Pack moving forward.
