What we learned from NC State’s series win over No. 14 Louisville

NC State entered a crucial weekend with No. 14 Louisville visiting Doak Field. The Wolfpack needed to find a way to exit the series with at least two victories to right the ship and to continue its climb in both the ACC standings and the RPI rankings.  The Pack played like a team that knew what was on the line. And in return, it was able to take the series opener 13-11 on Friday and the rubbermatch 11-1 on Sunday to claim its fourth conference weekend series win in its five tries this season.  Here are three things we learned from NC State’s eye-opening series win.
