Why NC State LB signee Terris Dudley entered the On300 rankings, rated higher than the rest of the industry

Terris Dudley played safety at Hilliard (Ohio) Bradley High during his senior season. He was a dynamic defender, able to make plays on the ball, while bringing a hard hit against the run. He was a player that NC State jumped in on later in the process, but the Wolfpack quickly thought of him as a linebacker.  Once the Pack offered in November, and got him on campus the following week, Dudley flipped his commitment from Toledo to NC State just before National Signing Day. And now that he is expected to play linebacker, it caused On3 Director of Scouting and Rankings Charles Power to view him differently.
