2026 quarterback Dayton Raiola commits to Nebraska
Buford (Ga.) quarterback Dayton Raiola has committed to Nebraska. The future Husker is the son of former Nebraska offensive lineman Dominic Raiola and is the younger brother of Nebraska’s current starting quarterback, true freshman Dylan Raiola. Dayton is the first commitment for Nebraska in the 2026 class.
Nebraska has landed a commitment from Husker legacy Dayton Raiola. Dayton, a 6-foot-1 and 205-pound junior quarterback, has had an offer from Nebraska since October 2022 and was re-offered by Matt Rhule and his staff in January 2023.

Dayton Raiola will follow his father and his brother to Nebraska. His father, Dominic, played for Nebraska from 1998-2000. He was an All-American in 2000 and won the inaugural Dave Rimington Trophy for the nation’s top collegiate center.

Dayton is Dylan Raiola’s younger brother. Dylan committed to Nebraska in December 2023 and is now the starting quarterback for the Huskers. Dylan also played for Buford (Ga.) and was a five-star recruit and an Elite 11 finalist.
Dayton is the first commitment in the 2026 class for Nebraska. He has visited Nebraska four times this year already including the elite junior day in July and for the game against Colorado on September 7.
