6-foot-3 OH Jayden Robinson joins Nebraska Volleyball's Class of 2026
Nebraska Volleyball earned his second commitment of the Class of 2026 with a verbal commitment from outside hitter Jayden Robinson. Robinson attends Ridge Point High School in Missouri City, Texas. She can play on either pin for the Huskers.
The 6-foot-3 outside hitter is the No. 5 overall prospect in her class, according to PrepDig.com. PrepVolleyball.com listed her as the No. 42 overall recruit.
“I am so extremely excited to announce my verbal commitment to continue my academic and athletic career at the University of Nebraska!” Robinson said on Instagram. “First, I want to thank God for giving me this opportunity. Second, I want to thank my family for supporting me through my process and giving me everything that I needed in order to achieve my goals!

During her sophomore season at Ridge Point, Robinson recorded 316 kills, 2.4 kills per set and hit .279. She only played in three sets as a freshman on varsity in 2022. She averaged 0.7 blocks per set and recorded a team-high 94 total blocks. In her first full season on varsity, Robinson was second in kills per set and hitting percentage.

Robinson plays club for Houston Skyline. She and Skyline’s 15 Royal team placed third at nationals in 2023. She is teammates with Texas outside hitter commit Halle Thompson.
The Texas native is on the USA Girls U19 Team for the 2024 NORCECA Girls U19 Continental Championship on July 12-20 in Honduras. She is listed as an opposite hitter on USA Volleyball’s website.
Robinson joins 6-foot-1 outside hitter Gabby DiVita, who is from Grosse Pointe, Michigan, in the class of 2026. DiVita, who averaged 5.6 kills per set for Grosse Pointe South in 2023, was NU’s first commitment. The Huskers are still on the lookout for a middle blocker.
