Nebraska's Big Ten Tournament path is set
After officially clinching the No. 3 seed in next week’s Big Ten Tournament with a win at Michigan, Nebraska learned the rest of its bracket path on Sunday.
With Indiana beating Michigan State, Illinois topping Iowa, and Penn State defeating Maryland, the Huskers now know their potential path in Minneapolis.
Indiana secured the No. 6 seed and will play a day before NU on Thursday. The Hoosiers will face the winner of No. 11 Penn State and No. 14 Michigan, who play on Wednesday.
While Nebraska won’t know its first opponent until Thursday night, it does know that it will be the final game of the quarterfinal round on Friday. The Huskers will tip off around 8 p.m. CT – 25 minutes after the conclusion of No. 2 Illinois’ 5:30 p.m. CT matchup vs. Iowa (7) or Ohio State (10).
