Big Ten unveils Nebraska's 2024 football schedule
Next season marks the official debut of the new 18-team Big Ten Conference, and the league finally revealed what its 2024 football schedules would look like on Thursday.
Nebraska will play four Big Ten home games and five on the road, beginning with Illinois coming to Memorial Stadium on Sept. 21. That will mark NU’s first home conference opener since 2017.
After a trip to Purdue on Sept. 28 and a home tilt vs. Rutgers on Oct. 5, the Huskers will have the first of two bye weeks. They will then make consecutive road trips to Indiana (Oct. 19) and Ohio State (Oct. 26).
