Cameron Lenhardt recommits to Nebraska at UA All-American game

Cameron Lenhardt is back. The 2023 four-star defensive edge from Bradenton (Fla.) IMG Academy recommitted to Nebraska after he decommited following the head coaching change in September.
Lenhardt committed to Nebraska for a second time during the fourth quarter of the Under Armour All-American game on ESPN2 on Jan. 3.
The Staten Island, New York native initially committed to Nebraska under previous Head Coach Scott Frost, defensive coordinator Erik Chinander and defensive line coach Mike Dawson. Lenhardt announced his decommitment from the Huskers on Sept. 18, the day Chinander was let go.
“I want to thank Coach Dawson and Coach Chin especially for giving me this opportunity,” he said on Twitter. “I have to protect myself as an athlete so please respect my decision. This was not an easy decision but this is a decision that will affect my life’s path.”
The 6-foot-2, 230-pound edge has pledged himself to Nebraska again just days before the early signing period. This time, Head Coach Matt Rhule and defensive coordinator Tony White are at the helm.
