Coveted IOL portal transfer Micah Mazzccua sets commitment date
The talented IOL Micah Mazzccua from Baylor, 6-foot-5 and 331 pounds, has set a commitment date for Tuesday (Jan. 10) at 8 p.m. ET.
Mazzccua was a three-star recruit out of Baltimore (Maryland) St. Frances Academy. He entered the portal on December 18. He started ten games and played 780 snaps at left guard this past season at Baylor, and has two seasons of eligibility remaining.
Mazzccua has a top three of Auburn, Nebraska, and Florida. He took an official visit to Auburn in December, a mid-week official visit to Nebraska this week, and left Lincoln straight for Gainesville to take an official visit to Florida.
Mazzccua was an Under Armour All-American. The three-star recruit picked Baylor over offers from Michigan, Maryland, Syracuse, Virginia Tech, and other schools.
Mazzccua was regarded as one of the best offensive linemen in the country this past season. His best game likely came against Albany, where he had an 82.9 overall grade and zero pressures.
