The talented IOL Micah Mazzccua from Baylor, 6-foot-5 and 331 pounds, has set a commitment date for Tuesday (Jan. 10) at 8 p.m. ET.

Mazzccua was a three-star recruit out of Baltimore (Maryland) St. Frances Academy. He entered the portal on December 18. He started ten games and played 780 snaps at left guard this past season at Baylor, and has two seasons of eligibility remaining.

Mazzccua has a top three of Auburn, Nebraska, and Florida. He took an official visit to Auburn in December, a mid-week official visit to Nebraska this week, and left Lincoln straight for Gainesville to take an official visit to Florida.

Mazzccua was an Under Armour All-American. The three-star recruit picked Baylor over offers from Michigan, Maryland, Syracuse, Virginia Tech, and other schools.

Mazzccua was regarded as one of the best offensive linemen in the country this past season. His best game likely came against Albany, where he had an 82.9 overall grade and zero pressures.

At one point during the 2022-23 season, Mazzccua peaked at No. 6 for the highest-rated guard in the country, according to PFF.

Nebraska played host to three transfer targets this week. Offensive tackle Walter Rouse from Stanford and wide receiver Billy Kemp IV from Virginia were also in Lincoln along with Mazzccua.

The Huskers have landed seven transfers already, including Joshua Fleeks from Baylor, who will have a role as both a running back and wide receiver for Nebraska. Mazzccua would join Ben Scott from Arizona State, who will play center for the Huskers.
