Nebraska women’s basketball might have just landed one of the biggest recruits in program history. Elkhorn North guard Britt Prince announced her commitment to Amy Williams and the Huskers on Sunday.

The 5-foot-11 guard is a five-star prospect, according to ESPN. She is the No. 28 overall prospect in the class of 2024. In fact, Prince is the highest-rated prospect to come out of Nebraska since Taylor Kissinger in 2017.

Jessica Sheppard was the Huskers’ last top-30 recruit. Sheppard, who played for Fremont (Neb.) High School, was the No. 3 recruit in the class of 2015. After two seasons, she transferred to Notre Dame and won the 2018 national championship.
