Nebraska has picked up a huge and needed boost to the 2023 recruiting class. The Huskers just landed the top player in the state who is also the No. 4 athlete in the country and who is also the No. 144 player overall in the country. Malachi Coleman from Lincoln (Neb.) East is a splash commitment for Mickey Joseph.

Since Mickey Joseph came to Nebraska the name Malachi Coleman was circled and underlined twice. Coleman was a must get. The position spread on Coleman was from wide receiver to defensive back to edge to defensive end.

Joseph sees him playing for him as a wide receiver. There are physical gifts that Coleman has that can’t be taught. It’s the things that can be learned which makes Nebraska a perfect place for Coleman and to learn from a great developer of wide receivers.

The RPM (Recruiting Prediction Machine) has been pegged at 99% in favor of Nebraska for some time with multiple national analysts predicting Coleman chooses Nebraska. The NIL evaluation is currently at $150K according to On3 which is good for No. 85 among high school athletes.
