Kickoff times and TV networks announced for multiple Nebraska games on Wednesday
The kickoff times and television networks were announced on Wednesday for six different Nebraska football games.
The conference officially announced the first three weeks of its television lineup, kickoff times for homecoming, and scheduled Friday and other pre-selected match-ups.
The Huskers will open the season at Minnesota on Aug. 31 (Thursday) at 7 p.m. CT on FOX. It will be the second straight season the Big Red has opened the season against a Big Ten opponent on FOX.
Nebraska’s second game of 2023 on Sept. 9 will also be on FOX. Nebraska will play Colorado on FOX’s Big Noon kickoff, a 10 a.m. mountain time kickoff in Boulder.

The Huskers’ first home game of 2023 will be against Northern Illinois at 6 p.m. on FS1.
NU’s Oct. 6 game at Illinois has been set for a 7 p.m. kickoff on FS1, and its Oct. 28 homecoming contest with Purdue has been set for 11 a.m., 2:30 p.m. or 3 p.m. CT with the network to be announced later.
It was also announced that the Huskers’ Nov. 24 Black Friday game against Iowa would be aired on CBS at 11 a.m. CT. It marks the first time NU has had a scheduled game on CBS since the 2008 season when it played Clemson in the Gator Bowl on Jan. 1, 2009.
Both CBS and NBC are new pieces to the Big Ten television package. NBC will air Big Ten football in primetime, while CBS will have a more scattered line-up in 2023 as it wraps up its final year with the SEC Conference. CBS will exclusively air Big Ten games at 2:30 p.m. CT starting in 2024.
