As HuskerOnline reported on Sunday, new Nebraska head coach Matt Rhule officially added Terrance Knighton to his staff on Tuesday. His official Twitter bio lists him as NU’s defensive line coach.
Knighton had worked under Rhule with the Carolina Panthers as an assistant defensive line coach.
The first thing that jumps out about Knighton is he brings eight years of NFL playing experience to the Huskers. He was a third-round NFL Draft pick in 2009.
