Nebraska forward Denim Dawson enters the transfer portal
Nebraska saw its second departure of the offseason on Wednesday, as redshirt freshman forward Denim Dawson entered his name into the NCAA Transfer Portal.
The California native started eight games for the Huskers this season, but his role decreased significantly toward the end of the year.
Dawson joined the starting lineup at Purdue on Jan. 13 after Juwan Gary suffered a season-ending shoulder injury the game prior vs. Illinois.
He started the next eight games but was eventually moved back off the bench. Dawson played a total of 14 minutes in five appearances the rest of the season.
