Nebraska lands Centennial State IOL, Landen Davidson after very quick process
Things moved fast for Bloomfield (Colo.) offensive lineman Landen Davidson. The 6-foot-4 and 295-pound road grader picked up an offer from Nebraska following a camp performance a week ago. This past weekend, Davidson took an official visit to Nebraska. Davidson saw everything that he needed to make a commitment to the Huskers to become the third offensive lineman in the class for Matt Rhule.
The camp evaluation process has been incredibly important to Nebraska and Matt Rhule when it comes to building his 2024 recruiting class. Davidson camped at Nebraska on June 11th and left Lincoln with an offer. He took an official visit this past weekend and committed late on Sunday night to the Huskers.
“The thing that ultimately made me choose Nebraska as my home was how the coaches interacted between each other and the players,” Davidson said. “It felt like a family and I loved every second of it and wanted to become a part of it.”
Coach Rhule, Raiola, and Satterfield broke things down for Davidson last weekend in Lincoln. They showed him what the new offense will look like and they told Davidson that he was a perfect fit as an interior offensive lineman for their new, pro-style offense.
“I love the power, pro-style offense that Nebraska is going to run! Running your feet through defenders and playing mean, tough football. I have played that way my entire life and I think that I will fit in so good with their style.”

Nebraska commit Landen Davidson wants another ring this fall
Davidson now has the rest of his summer to look forward to, but it also means that his extra time now will be spent getting ready for his senior season. He says that it’s back to the laboratory to get ready for the last ride with his Broomfield teammates.
“Summer is going to carry on without the stress that comes with recruiting,” Davidson said. “I am getting ready for my senior season with my teammates. I am going to be lifting a ton and stepping up as a captain to encourage my team to go back to back and win another ring!”
Davidson was re-offered by Colorado following the camp and offer from Nebraska. He had an upcoming official visit set to go to Fort Morgan and check out Colorado State that he plans to cancel. He was also offered by Iowa State, Kansas, and Washington State.
