The Husker staff might have seen things slipping away with Barnes when he officially visited Iowa last weekend. But just a day after returning home from Iowa City, Barnes announced over social media that he has committed to Nebraska.
Barnes fills a significant void in the recruiting class for Nebraska at running back. Barnes will join Ajay Allen from Monroe (La.) Neville, who signed with Nebraska in the class of 2022 and saw time as a true freshman before an injury ended his season.
